How long have you been in business?
We will be celebrating our 37th Anniversary. We are hoping to have our annual travel show in Spring 2023 more to follow!

What is your primary product or service?
We are a full service Travel Agency selling travel all over the world. All inclusive resorts, Ocean and River Cruises and everything in-between. From Disney to Australia, Europe, Safaris and anyplace you dream, we can help plan the perfect trip. Our slogan " We know what we sell because we have been there" is truly a great asset to our loyal customers new and old!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Because of my love of travel I opened Starship Travel in 1986 to help plan and share my travel experiences. Our full service store front in in South Elgin.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a multi award winning travel company. Our slogan says it all "We know what we sell....because we have been there".
With more than 28 agents we can cover the world. We are the only Travel Agency to earn the BBB Torch Award for Ethical Business Practice.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our main store front is in South Eglin. Because of Covid we had to close our Arlington Hts location after 34 years. However we can service from anywhere via phone or email. We have extended service in South Elgin. I have agents in Florida, Arkansas, Mt Prospect, Johnsburg, Lake Zurich and Wisconsin to name a few via our independent agents that are home based.
